My teacher’s book on acting

My acting teacher, Mr. Terry Schreiber just had his first book on acting published. I haven’t had time to read it all yet, but it details what he does in class. I have to say that without a doubt, Terry is the finest acting teacher I’ve ever had. He creates an incredibly safe environment and really respects and loves actors and acting. I HIGHLY recommend his book.

If you already know Terry (and thus love him) join me in my quest to rearrange the placement of his books at Barnes & Noble. When you see his, just push aside the Meisners and the Strasbergs (leave the Stanislavskys please) and move his book to the center of the display.

Last night, the studio had a book signing session. I felt so proud being there. The theatre was full of current and former students all recognizing how this beautiful man has touched our lives. I truly believe history will place him along side the great teachers of acting.
