DOUBLE PINTER
The first of two plays by Harold Pinter opens tonight. “The Birthday Party” - which was met with horror and disdain at its premiere in 1958 - will be followed tomorrow by his 1964 play “The Homecoming,” which is, by intention, perhaps the bleakest theatrical experience possible.
For a schedule: www.pinterproject.com. T. Schreiber Studio, 151 West 26th Street, Chelsea; 8 p.m.; $15. (Through March 13.)

We have dress rehearsals tomorrow and we open on Wednesday!

Just got word that we are listed in New York magazine:

Get Smart
Adventurous adaptations of old standbys (from Euripides to Shepard) are booming this month, far from the Times Square crowds. They’re a painless way to fulfill that New Year’s resolution to soak up some literature.

The Pinter Project
Terry Schreiber directs two of Harold Pinter’s classics in repertory: The Birthday Party and The Homecoming.
T. Schreiber Studio, 151 W. 26th St., nr. Sixth Ave., 7th fl., 212-352-3101. Opens 2/2.

There is now a webpage for my current project www.pinterproject.com with information and links to purchase tickets.

I am playing Stanley in The Birthday Party

Here is the performance schedule. Note that it’s fast approaching. Note also the tone of panic in my voice.
